Undulating, attractive. Starts by going through the town centre then out into the Cheshire and Welsh countryside. Save some energy for hills towards the end.

Start Line / Aid Stations

Start and finish at Chester Race Course. Lots of good facilities. Hot drinks/snacks available. Covered area for runners. Well stocked aid stations.

Medal/T-shirt/Goody Bag

Good quality medal and long sleeve t-shirt.

Accommodation

Limited book early. Most hotels walking distance to start. We stayed at Crowne Plaza (Excellent) and The Holiday Inn Express – racecourse (wouldn’t let us leave bags in reception after check out).

Restaurants

Book early. We ate at Bella Pasta and Café Rouge and after the race we had an excellent roast at The Old Harkers Arms (with 12% discount for runners).
